Gold Cup Festival, Cheltenham Racecourse

For the last decade, we have provided the power, utility and decorative lighting, power distribution and almost every inch of cable around the racecourse to make sure the Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival event runs smoothly year on year.

During the festival week we have at least 6 of our fantastic electricians working day and night for up to 7 weeks prior to the Gold Cup being certain all is working correctly, from supplying power to many marquees and beer tents and right down to making sure the starting wire and betting boards work correctly.

Over these four magical days in March, the whole racing community converges on Cheltenham racecourse for the showpiece event of National Hunt racing, and for most people a day at Cheltenham Festival means putting on the hats and Barbour jackets, drinking Champagne and rubbing shoulders with the rich and the famous, but our electricians are still working round the clock to make sure everything is still plain sailing for the famous week of racing.

Over the many years that we have been supplying the cabling, lighting and power distribution, including the vast amount of generators needed, our job remains as in depth and ever detailed as the first year we were appointed as The Cheltenham Racecourse's trusted Electrical Contractors.

Every piece of equipment our team use and supply undergoes a vigorous testing process and gains a PAT testing certificate to ensure the attendees and staff of the Cheltenham Races receive a prestige and professional service as highly regarded as the races themselves.
